So, I have fallen to the world of blogging. Annie, my wife is a blogger, and is phenomenal. Last night, after we returned from "Rent" she allowed me to hijack one of her posts, but there was a problem. She EDITED MY POST BEFORE PUBLISHING IT!!! Whatever happened to freedom of speech? It was then and there I decided to get my own blog. So here it is....my blog. The inner thoughts of a maddog. Maddog was one of those reverse nicknames given to me in college. I must warn you. This blog will be very raw, not in the sense that it maybe offensive, (though it might) but it may not have the best grammar, or spelling. I'll leave that to my English teacher wife. I encourage you to read her blog if you haven't. (She is actually wanting me to put a comma in the previous sentence, but I refuse. This is MY blog.)
I won't get into who I am, or what I do in this post. Beside, I don't think anyone I don't know will be reading this.
Honestly, I am not sure where I was going in this my original post. So let's go the sports angle....
Today is National Signing day. No that is not a typo. It is "signing" not singing day. For those of you don't know the first Wed in Feb is always the day where scores of high school athletes pledge 3-5 years of their life to play football for various colleges or universities. It is amazing to me the amount of effort, and attention is paid to this day. It has even been touted as "Christmas in Feb." Pretty ridiculous huh? I must admit, I can get caught up in the hoopla. But today, I had my wife, my 17-month old daughter, and my dog to keep me grounded. We went to the dog park and enjoyed the beautiful weather. (I had taken the day off, but NOT for NSD. -- Sure, you are saying, but it's the truth. Honest. No really. I mean it. Never mind) If they hadn't been home, I would have stayed glued to the computer all day.
Oh well. This is it. My first blog. It may be my last.
A stream of consiousness from a random guy who cares nothing about spelling or grammar news, but love GOD family friends & football (mostly Clemson football)

John,
There are no rules in my blog. You can post whatever comments you want. The spelling/ grammar police has been ran out of town a long time ago.
