Today, for all intents and purposes was a pretty darn good day. Today I got to play in the Annual Franke @ Seaside golf tournament. Franke is a customer of mine and they invited me to play, who am I to turn down a free day out of the office; even if I am making a complete fool of myself while doing so? As a side note, last year my partner ran into the back of the cart of the nice English gentleman who was playing with us, so needless to say, I was a little surprised to be asked back. I guess the Luthrens really needed the money. But on to my point...
This morning I went into the office for about an hour, because I got up late (unintentionally of course). Then, my coworker (the same one in the golf cart) and I went to Cracker Barrell, and thus avoided our VP who was coming for his quarterly visit. After I downed an Old Timers breakfast, it was off to Rivertowne Country Club. Man was it windy today. Don't worry though, my golf game is such that wind isn't really going to hurt me one way or the other. It's not because I'm that good. It's because I'm that BAD. You know the old saying "your worst day on the golf course is still better than your best day at the office"? Whoever made that saying up has never played golf with Brian Magner. Now don't get me wrong, every now and then I will hit a shot that makes me look like I have been playing my whole life, but these shots are few and far between, and usually it's one of each. I'll have a good drive off the tee on one hole, a beautiful putt on another and a nice lay-up from the fairway on another. If I could put them all together I would have one Kick-ASS hole (Annie wants me to edit the cussing, but I have to remind her that this blog is completly against editing for any reason. So, if you are offended, please do not look at it as a reflection of her. She is a wonderful woman who never cusses unless she is on the ski slopes. -- Thanks, Management) But even then I would shoot like a million over. So having said all of this: Is making a complete fool of myself + playing in like 90 mph winds + getting sunburned + avoiding my bi-polar VP = or > my best day @ work? I have no idea but it was pretty fun, and no one got whip lash this year, so maybe we're getting better.
A stream of consiousness from a random guy who cares nothing about spelling or grammar news, but love GOD family friends & football (mostly Clemson football)

For all intents and purposes, it's the lack of editing that makes this a KICK, eh, well, um, BUTT blog. I laughed the whole way through it!
I just laughed out loud and plan on sending the link to J---I know he will be amused by the lack of editing.....YOU are one Kick A friend!
I have to admit that I also cuss sometimes when I have road rage. I guess I better watch that with Hannah getting older.
WEll we find that made up words that W thinks are bad to say are much more to fun to say around him...and you are n't cussing---so if he or H repeats them its okay...people may think you are crazy saying things like "OH Humpherdedump" or Jordans favorite with a mean growl....."BANANAS" so now W has things to say but they aren't cuss words--when I was a Nanny the people said "MANZINA" doesot even mean a thing but a fun word to say if people cut you off in traffic! :)
